Download Genomic Tiling results

After you set up a Genomic Tiling job, and eArray finishes it, the job appears in the Search Results pane of the Genomic Tiling page with a status of Completed. You also receive an e-mail from Agilent. You can then download the results.

  1. Click the Workspace tab.

  2. Set the application type to CGH, ChIP, or SureSelect Capture Array.

  3. Click Probe > Genomic Tiling.

The Genomic Tiling page appears. At the bottom of the page, the Search Results pane lists your current Genomic Tiling jobs.

  4. In the Actions column of the list, next to the desired job, click Download.

    A dialog box appears.

  5. Click Save.

A Save As dialog box appears.

  6. Select a location for the file, then click Save.

eArray downloads the Genomic Tiling results in .zip format to the location that you selected.

The downloaded .zip archive contains several files, as described in the table below. All files are tab-delimited text files that you can view with a word processing or spreadsheet program.

Information of an overall nature about the set of probes produced by the Genomic Tiling process, including statistics on the length and number of probes.

Tiling_tdt

Design Details

List of the probes generated by the Genomic Tiling process, with specific information about each probe, including its length, sequence, and the chromosomal location from which it was derived.

Tiling_fate

Target Fate

List of the target genomic intervals used in the Genomic Tiling process, with information on which ones produced probes, and which did not.
