Download probes from Agilent's catalog gene lists

Agilent maintains a catalog of ready-to-use DNA oligonucleotide microarrays that represent a variety of species, design formats, and application types. You can download the list of probes (with accessions and annotations) found in each of these microarrays. You do not have to be a registered user or log in to eArray to download gene lists for Agilent catalog microarray designs.

  1. On the eArray login page, in the Important Links pane, click Catalog Gene Lists.

eArray displays a list of Agilent Catalog microarrays, with their design numbers, design formats, and control grids. Use the Pages links to navigate through the list. To restrict the list to microarrays with a specific design format, select the desired format in Design Format, then click Filter. Click any column heading, except Actions, to sort the list based on that column. To reverse the order of the sort, click the column heading again.

  2. In the Actions column, next to the desired Microarray, click GeneList.

    A dialog box appears.

  3. Click Save.

A Save As dialog box appears.

  4. Select the location for the downloaded gene list, then click Save.

eArray downloads the gene list to the specified location on your computer in .zip format. A message informs you that your download is complete.

  5. Click Close.

You can extract the gene list file from the .zip archive. It is a tab-delimited text file that you can view with a word processing or spreadsheet program.
