Remove a user from a collaboration

If you are a lead for a particular collaboration, you can remove any collaborator with a role of member or share user.

  1. Enter the collaboration.

  2. Click My Account > Manage Users.

    A list of collaborators appears.

  3. Select the user(s) you want to remove from the collaboration. Do not select your own name, or the names of other collaboration leads. Use the following as a guide:

    • To select a user, mark the check box next to the name of the user. You can select more than one user.

    • To select all users on a page, mark the check box in the column heading row.

    • To navigate among multiple pages of users, use the Pages links. eArray remembers your selections as you go from page to page.

    • To sort the list based on the contents of the User Name or Status columns, click the desired column heading. To reverse the order of the sort, click the column heading again. eArray highlights the heading of the current sort column in white.
       

  4. Click Remove User.

    A dialog box appears.

  5. Caution: If you remove users from the collaboration, and later want to restore them, you must send them new invitations.

  1. To permanently remove the user(s) from the collaboration, click OK.

    eArray removes the selected users from the collaboration, and removes their names from the list on the Manage Users page. eArray also sends each affected participant an e-mail that  informs them of their removal.

    A message informs you that eArray successfully processed your request.

  2. Click Close.
