Monitor submitted jobs

On the SureDesign Home screen, the Designs: In Progress dashboard lists all your custom designs that have a status of Draft. Designs at the draft stage include designs that you started to create in the wizard but have not yet submitted for probe selection, and designs that you have submitted for probe selection but have not yet finalized.

When you submit a design job, Agilent puts your submission into the SureDesign job queue and updates the Designs: In Progress dashboard to list the date of the submission. SureDesign can often complete small jobs within a few minutes, but because the job queue is shared by all SureDesign users, the time needed to complete your job can vary depending on the number of jobs in the queue.

To monitor the status of a submitted job:

  1. Click the Home tab at the top of the program window to navigate to the Home screen.

  2. Under Designs: In Progress, locate the design that you submitted.

    The description in parentheses next the submission date indicates the status of your probe selection job:

·        Pending: The job is still waiting in the queue.

·        Processing: The job is being processed by SureDesign.

·        Complete: The job is complete. You can now click the continue icon to re-open the wizard and continue creating the design.

If SureDesign cannot complete your job, the job status is listed as Error. Agilent SureDesign will send you an e-mail detailing the error.

  1. Click the refresh icon to see the latest updates to a job status.
