The Browse Array Design and Browse Array Set commands let you view and take action on available microarray designs and sets without having to do a search. You can browse workgroup or collaboration microarray designs and sets by folder, and you can browse Agilent catalog microarray designs and sets both by category and by folder. If your workgroup administrator or collaboration lead sets up browse categories, you can also browse workgroup or collaboration microarray designs and sets by category.
Click the Workspace tab, or enter a collaboration.
Set the application type. You can only browse microarray designs or sets that are associated with the current application type.
Click the Microarray tab.
Click Browse
Microarray Designs or Browse
Microarray Sets.
The Browse Microarray Design page or Browse Microarray Set page lists
all microarray designs or microarray sets available to you. Use the
Pages links to navigate among
multiple pages of results. The left pane of the page contains hierarchical
lists of folders and categories.
Refine the list of designs or sets in any of these ways:
In the left pane, click to expand a folder or category, or to collapse it.
Under Browse Workgroup by Category or Browse Agilent Catalog by Category, click a category to view the list of designs/sets associated with it. eArray displays the designs/sets associated with the specific category that you click, but not with any of its subcategories. For you to browse the content of your workgroup by category, your workgroup administrator must set up browse categories. Also, note that no Agilent Catalog content is available for the SureSelect Capture Array application type.
Under Browse by Folder, click a folder to view the list of designs/sets contained within it. eArray displays the designs/sets in the specific folder you select, but not in any of its subfolders.
To limit the list of designs/sets to a specific design format, array category, or status, select the desired options from the Design Format, Array Category, and Status lists at the top of the right pane, then click Filter. To remove the effects of a filter, set the given list to Select, then click Filter again. The options that are available for each filter vary by application type.
To sort the list based on the contents of any column (except Actions), click the specific column heading. To reverse the order of the items in the list, click the column heading again.
The links and buttons in the right pane of the page allow you to take action on the listed microarray designs or sets. See Actions you can take on microarray designs/sets.
