Hide public page |
|
When you publish content to the Public tab, eArray creates a public page based on the particular library or microarray design. You can then edit the contents of the page, and add attachments such as files, hyperlinks, and a picture. Initially, eArray hides your public page from visitors. To allow visitors to see your public page, you make it viewable. If a page is viewable, you can hide it.
Click the Public
tab.
A list of your public pages appears. In the Viewable column, Yes appears
for viewable pages, and No
appears for hidden pages. To sort the list of pages based on the contents
of a column, click an underlined
column heading. To reverse the order of the sort, click the column
heading again.
Mark the check box(es)
next to the public page(s) that you want
to hide, then click Hide.
For microarray designs, a dialog box informs you that if a selected
published microarray design is part of a microarray set, all of the
public design pages associated with the set will be hidden. In this
dialog box, click OK.
A dialog box informs you that the selected libraries or microarray
designs have been made hidden.
Click Close.
Note: When you hide a public page, it remains in the system, and you can still edit it and add attachments to it. If you want to permanently remove the page, see Delete public page.
