Move probe group |
|
You can move probe groups to a folder to which you have access, both within and outside of a collaboration. You must own the probe groups.
If you intend to share a probe group from your individual user workspace with other users in a new or existing collaboration, use eArray's Share Probe Group feature. This feature is specifically designed to facilitate this process, and includes the creation of a new collaboration workspace, if needed.
You must be an eArray registered user.
You must own the probe group.
You must have access to the desired destination folder.
The probe group must not be in use in an existing microarray design or set.
The probe group must not be an Agilent Catalog probe group, but it can contain Agilent Catalog probes.
Perform a search
for the desired probe group. Alternatively, use eArray's Browse
Probe Group feature to retrieve a list of probe groups that includes
the desired ones.
A list of probe groups appears.
In the list, mark the check boxes next to the probe groups you want to move.
Click Move.
The Move Probe Group(s) page lists your selected probe groups. The
From Folder column lists the current location of each probe group.
In the To Folder column, select a new destination folder for each probe group. The lists display the folders to which you have access.
In Move Probe Group(s) Option, select one of the following. You can only move a probe group if it is not in use in a microarray design. These options define what eArray does if a selected probe group is in use in a microarray design.
Make copy if used in other designs – If the probe group you are moving is part of an existing microarray design, eArray creates a duplicate probe group and moves this duplicate to the location you specify.
Cancel move if used in other designs – If the probe group you are moving is part of an existing microarray design, eArray cancels your requested move.
Click Move.
eArray moves the requested probe groups. When eArray completes the
process, a list of action details appears. The Result column indicates
whether a move was successful or if it failed. If a move failed, an
explanation appears in the Message column.
Click Close.
