Subscribe to microarray design updates |
The content of public sequence databases and the understanding of gene function both change over time. This changes the probes used in certain microarrays, and the annotations associated with them. As part of the design/set download process for arrays of any application type, you can request update notification. The design/set must have a status of Complete or Submitted. If you request notification, Agilent sends you an e-mail if significant changes occur to the content of an existing Agilent Catalog microarray, or to the annotation of Agilent probes used in microarray designs that you have created.
Agilent notifies you of updates approximately every 3–4 months.

the desired microarray design/set. The design/set must have Complete
or Submitted status.
During the download process, after you select the types of files that
you want to download, a dialog box asks if you want to subscribe to
microarray design updates.
Click OK.
You can cancel specific update notification subscriptions, or restore them.
Click the Workspace tab, or enter a collaboration.
Click
Microarray > Notification.
eArray displays a list of microarrays that you have downloaded. Your
subscription status for each appears in the Subscription column.
Select the desired microarrays from the list. Use the following as a guide:
To select a microarray, mark the check box next to its name. You can select more than one microarray.
To select all microarrays on a page, mark the check box in the column heading row.
To sort the list based on the contents of any column, click the heading of the desired column.
To reverse the order of the sort, click the column heading again.
To
navigate among multiple pages, use the Pages
links.
To cancel
your subscriptions to updates for the selected microarrays, click
Unsubscribe. To restore a
subscription, select the name of the desired microarray, then click
Subscribe.
A message informs you that your notification subscription(s) were successfully
