Create probe group from GE Probe Check

When you use GE Probe Check to analyze uploaded probes, or an existing probe group, the returned probes can serve as the basis for a new probe group. eArray lets you create a probe group with the following procedure once for each set of GE Probe Check results. If you need more than one copy or version of this probe group, use the Copy Probe Group function.

  1. Use GE Probe Check to analyze uploaded probes, or an existing probe group.

When eArray finishes your probe check job, you receive an e-mail, and the job appears in the Search Results pane on the GE Probe Check page with a status of Completed.

  2. In the Actions column of the Search Results pane, next to the desired GE Probe Check job, click Create Probe Group.

A message informs you that your job has been submitted, and that you will receive an e-mail when eArray creates your probe group.

  3. Click Exit.

After eArray creates your new probe group, you receive an e-mail. You can then search or browse for the probe group, edit it, and use it in microarray designs.
