Edit bait group |
|
You can change the information that is associated with a bait group, such as its name or keywords, and you can also add or remove baits from a bait group.
You must be the owner of the bait group. To edit a bait group that you do not own, make a copy of the bait group, then edit the copy.
The bait group status must be Incomplete. To edit a bait group with a status of Locked, make a copy of the bait group, then edit the copy.
You must be a registered user in eArray.
In the Actions
column of the search results, next to the desired bait group, click

The Edit Bait Group page lists the current properties of the bait group.

Property |
Instructions/Details |
Bait Group Name |
Type a new name for the bait group. This name is the way eArray references the bait group in search results, bait group lists, view pages, and the like. |
Status |
Select either Incomplete or Locked. By default, eArray creates new bait groups with a status of Incomplete, which allows editing. If you set the status to Locked, you cannot further edit the bait group. |
Description |
(Optional) Type a brief description. |
Keyword |
(Optional) Type a keyword, or multiple keywords separated by pipe "|" characters, commas, or semicolons. Keywords can make the bait group easier to find during a bait group search. Also, the Browse Bait Group tool uses keywords as the basis for the selection of bait groups when you view workgroup content by category. |
Search Criteria |
Click Click Here, if it appears, to view the most recent criteria that were used to search for the baits in the bait group. The search criteria appear in a new window. The search criteria can give you additional insight into how the baits in the bait group were selected. |
Folder |
Select the destination folder for the bait group. Only the folders to which you have access appear in the list. |
Tiling Frequency |
(SureSelect RNA Enrichment application type only) Select a different tiling frequency, if desired. This value is the approximate number of baits that cover each base in the region(s) that are represented in the bait group. It is used later by eArray to calculate the base coverage for a library that contains this bait group. |
