Browse bait groups

The Browse Bait Groups tool in eArray lets you view a list of the bait groups that are accessible to you in eArray. You first view a list of all available bait groups, then select a specific category or folder to refine the list. You can browse workgroup or collaboration content by folder, and if your workgroup administrator or collaboration lead has set up browse categories, you can browse your workgroup or collaboration bait groups by category.

Click the Workspace tab, or enter a collaboration.
Set the application type to SureSelect Target Enrichment or SureSelect RNA Enrichment.
Click Bait Groups > Browse Bait Groups.

The Browse Bait Group page appears. A list of all available bait groups appears in the View Bait Group pane.

Click one of the Pages links to go to another page of bait groups.
In the left pane, select a category or folder as described in the table below.

Browse Workgroup by Category

You can browse bait groups by category within the content of your workgroup. When you select a category, eArray limits the list of bait groups to those associated with the category. eArray does not automatically display bait groups that are associated with subcategories.

Your workgroup administrator must set up browse categories for you to use this option to browse workgroup content. A collaboration lead can set up browse categories for a collaboration.

To select a category, click its name.
To expand a category, click its button.
To collapse a category, click its button.

Browse by Folder

When you select a folder, eArray limits the list to the bait groups in that folder. eArray does not display the bait groups in folders that are contained within the selected folder.

To select a folder, click its name.
To expand a folder, click its button.
To collapse a folder, click its button.

To further refine the list of bait groups, do any of the following:
- To sort the list of bait groups based on any column except Actions, click the desired column heading. To reverse the order of the items, click the same column heading again.
- To limit the list of bait groups to those with a specific status, select the desired value in Status, then click Filter.

From the Search Results pane, depending on the status and ownership of the bait group(s), you can take action on the retrieved bait groups. To take action, you click a link in the Actions column of the search results; or, you mark the check boxes next to the desired bait groups, then click one of the buttons above or below the list of bait groups.
