Manage invitations

If you are a collaboration lead, and you are in the collaboration workspace, you can search for and take action on the invitations to it. This is especially useful if there are many invitees, and you need to take action on a specific subset of them. For example, as a lead, you must approve share user invitations. To facilitate this, you can search for invitations that have an Invitation Type of SHARE. To approve the invitations, all you need to do is select them, then click Approve.

Also, when you invite people to participate in a collaboration, and they do not accept or reject your invitation within a reasonable period of time, you can send a second invitation to them. To find these invitations specifically, search for invitations with a status of SENT. This excludes invitations that are already accepted or rejected.

  1. Enter a collaboration workspace.

  2. Click My Account > Manage Invitations.

    A search page appears.

  3. Specify the following search parameters. To start over at any time, click Reset. All search parameters are optional, except as noted. To return a list of all invitations to the collaboration, perform a search with no search parameters specified.

E-mail

Type all or part of an invitee's e-mail address.

Invitation Type

Select one of the following types:

All – (Do not search on invitation type)

COLLABORATION – eArray returns only invitees who have been invited to join as collaboration members.

SHARE – eArray returns only invitees who have been invited to join as collaboration share users.

Status

Select one of the following options:

All – (Do not search on status)

ACCEPTED – The invitee has accepted the invitation.

PENDING – eArray has not yet sent the invitation e-mail to the invitee. An invitation to a share invitee has this status until a collaboration lead approves it.

REJECTED – The invitee has rejected the invitation.

REVOKED – You cancelled the invitation.

SENT – eArray has sent the invitation to the invitee, but the invitee has not yet responded.

Created Date

Click calendar_icon.gif to select the desired invitation creation date.

  1. Click Search.

    Search results appear at the bottom of the page, with the invitations that match your search criteria.
