View microarray designs/sets |
You can view details about a microarray design/set of any status. To view microarray designs/sets, you must be an eArray Registered user.
Search or browse for the desired microarray design/set.
A list of microarray designs or sets appears. To go to another page of results, use the Pages links.
In the Actions column of the list, next to the desired design/set, click View.
A page appears in a new window, with information about the design/set. All information is read-only. These tabs can appear at the bottom of the page:
Probe Group Details – Lists the biological and user control probe groups in the design, including the probe group that may have been selected to fill unused features. In this tab, you can click the name of a probe group to view its probe list and general information. Separate panes within this tab list replicate probe groups (for CGH, CGH+SNP, standard Expression, and Exon microarrays) and normalization probe groups (for CGH and CGH+SNP microarrays).
Linker Details – Linkers are segments of DNA that eArray adds to probes to "stilt" them farther from the glass substrate. If linkers have been added to probes, this tab lists the attributes of the linkers. This tab is not available for the microRNA or SureSelect Capture Array application types.
Version History – (Available only for designs in review.) Lists the saved versions of the design. Also indicates which version is marked as the current version that you can view or work on.
Design Creation Details – Names the creator of the array, and when the array was created, modified, and/or submitted to Agilent.
Microarray File Details – (Not available for designs with Draft status.) Lists the file(s) available for the design, and lets you download them. To view a description of the file type, place the pointer over the appropriate link in the File Type column. See Download microarray design/set.
Note: Microarray file details become available after eArray creates design files, which can take time. If you view a design/set before the files are ready, eArray displays a File write in progress message when you view the design/set, and leaves the Microarray File Details tab empty.
Most information is read-only, but If a name of a microarray design or probe group appears as a link, click it to view additional details about the item.
When you are finished, click Close.
