Move bait groups |
|
You can move bait groups that you own to other folders to which you have access, both inside and outside of collaborations.
If you want to share a bait group with other users in a new or existing collaboration, use the Share Bait Group command, instead. It is specifically designed for this purpose, and includes the creation of a new collaboration workspace, if needed.
You must be an eArray registered user.
You must own the bait group. To move a bait group that you do not own, first make a copy of it, then move the copy.
You must have access to the desired destination folder.
The bait group must not be in use in an existing library. To move a bait group that is in use in a library, first make a copy of it, then move the copy.
Search
for the desired bait group. Alternatively, use the Browse
Bait Group command to retrieve a list of bait groups that includes
the desired ones.
A list of bait groups appears.
In the list, mark the bait groups you want to move.
Click Move.
A list of your selected bait group(s) appears in a new window. The
From Folder column displays the current location of each bait group.
In the To Folder column, select a new destination folder for each bait group. The list displays the folders to which you have access.
In Move Bait Group(s) Option, select one of the following. You can only move a bait group if it is not in use in a library. These options define what eArray does if a selected bait group is in use in a library.
Make copy if used in other libraries – If the bait group to be moved is part of an existing library, eArray creates a duplicate bait group and moves this duplicate to the location you specify.
Cancel move if used in other libraries – If the bait group to be moved is part of an existing library, eArray cancels your requested move.
Click Move.
eArray moves the requested bait groups. When eArray completes the process,
a list of action details appears. The Result column shows whether
a move was successful or if it failed. If a move failed, an explanation
appears in the Message column.
Click Close.
