Submit mutagenesis library

After you complete a mutagenesis library, you can submit it to Agilent manufacturing. This lets you request a quote for the library. You can submit libraries from within Library Wizards (see Ways to create mutagenesis libraries), or you can also use the procedure in this topic to submit a library.

1. • Note: When you submit a mutagenesis library to manufacturing, an Agilent representative contacts you to follow up on your interest. Submitting a library does not obligate you to place an order for the library.

Before you submit a library

• The library must have a status of Complete.
   

To submit a library

1. Search for the desired library.
   
   eArray displays a list of libraries. You may find it useful to filter the list of libraries to show only the ones with a status of Complete — Above the search results, in Status, select Complete, then click Filter. You cannot submit libraries that are in Draft status.

2. In the Actions column, by the desired library, click Submit. The Submit action is only available for libraries created with your eArray account.
   
   A dialog box asks if you are sure that you want to submit the library.

3. Click OK.
   
   A message warns that you are about to submit the library to Agilent manufacturing. Note that submitting the library does not result in placing an order with Agilent.

4. In Please type comments here, type comments. Comments are required. eArray stores these comments with your library, but Agilent does not routinely monitor them. If you have a question or request, contact your Agilent sales representative, or Agilent Technical Support.

5. Click Design Checklist.
   
   The Library Checklist appears.

6. As you read the checklist, mark the check box next to each statement. You must read every statement, and mark every check box before you continue.

7. Click Done.
   
   eArray returns you to the previous page.

8. Click Yes.
   
   eArray submits the library to Agilent manufacturing but does not place an order for the library. An Agilent representative will contact you to follow up.
   
   Once you submit a library, you can request a quote for the library as part of the QuikChange Oligo Library Mutagenesis System. The status of the library changes to Submitted.
   
   A message confirms that you successfully submitted the library.

9. Click Close.
