Move library |
|
You can move a library with any status to another folder, provided you own the library and have access privileges for the destination folder. For the SureSelect Target Enrichment application type, you can also use the procedure in this topic to move library sets.
If your intent is to share a library with other users in a new or existing collaboration, use the Share command instead, which is specifically designed for this purpose. If needed, it creates a new collaboration space. This is a good way to share your libraries with others who are outside of your organization or workgroup, or who may not be current eArray users.
Note: You cannot move libraries in the AgilentCatalog folder, or eArrayXD libraries. Also, you cannot move an individual library that is part of a library set.
Search
or browse for the desired library.
eArray displays a list of libraries.
Select the desired libraries. Use the following as a guide:
To select a library, mark the check box next to its name. You can select more than one library.
To select all libraries on a page of results, mark the check box in the column heading row.
To go to another page of results, click one of the Pages links. eArray remembers your selections as you go from one page to another.
You can limit the search results to libraries that have a specific design format and/or status. Select the desired options in Design Format and/or in Status, then click Filter.
To sort the results based on the contents of any column (except Actions), click the desired column heading. To reverse the order of the items, click the same column heading again.
Click Move.
The Move Library page appears in a new window. The name of each selected
library appears in the Library Name column, and its current location
appears in the From Folder column.
In the To Folder column, select a destination folder for each library. The lists contain the folders to which you have access.
In Bait Group Move Option, select one of the two options described below. eArray cannot move a library if it contains a bait group that is used by another library. This option defines how eArray handles this situation, should it arise.
Make copy if used in other libraries – eArray makes a copy of the bait group, and moves this copy with your design/set.
Cancel move if used in other libraries – eArray cancels the move if your design/set contains a bait group used in another design/set.
Click Move.
eArray moves the selected libraries. A dialog box shows the libraries
that eArray attempted to move, and the locations involved. If the
move was successful, Successful
appears in the Result column. If not, Failed
appears, and eArray displays the reason in the Message column.
Click Close.
