Submit library

After you complete a SureSelect enrichment library, you can submit it to Agilent Manufacturing. Submitting a library allows you to request a quote for the library, but does not obligate you to place an order. If desired, you can order submitted libraries from the Agilent Online Store through eArray.

Before you submit a library

• You must be the owner of the library. Alternatively, to submit the library within a collaboration, you must have a role of Lead within the specific collaboration.

• The library must have a status of Complete.
   

To submit a library

1. Search or browse for the desired library.
   
   eArray displays a list of libraries. You may find it useful to filter the list of libraries to show only the ones with a status of Complete — Above the search results, in Status, select Complete, then click Filter.

2. In the Actions column, by the desired library, click Submit.
   
   A dialog box asks if you are sure that you want to submit the library.

3. Click OK.
   
   A message warns that you are about to submit the library to Agilent Manufacturing.

4. In Please type comments here, type comments. Comments are required. eArray stores these comments with your library, but Agilent does not routinely monitor them. If you have a question or request, contact your Agilent sales representative, or Agilent Technical Support.

5. Click Design Checklist.
   
   The Library Checklist appears. To preview the list, click here.

6. As you read the checklist, mark the check box next to each statement. You must read every statement, and mark every check box before you continue.

7. Click Done.
   
   eArray returns you to the previous page.

8. Click Yes.
   
   eArray submits the library to Agilent Manufacturing. Agilent sends you an e-mail with information about the library. You can then request a quote for the library or purchase it from the Agilent Online Store through eArray. All submitted libraries are available as standard library kits, which include all of the baits in the library. For the SureSelect Target Enrichment application type, libraries (except combined libraries) are also available as part of a SureSelect^XT kit, which supplies a complete target enrichment workflow for next generation sequencing.
   
   Once you submit a library, eArray creates design files, makes them available for you to download, and deletes all of the earlier versions from the system. The status of the library changes to Submitted. An Agilent representative will contact you to help you obtain the library kits that you need.
   
   A message confirms that you successfully submitted the library.

9. Click Close.

• Note:
  • If you submit a combined library, and its supplemental library has a status of Complete, eArray also submits the supplemental library.
  
  • (SureSelect Target Enrichment application type only) When you submit a library set, eArray submits all of the libraries in the set. You cannot submit an individual library that is part of the set.
